If you want to describe your situation and ask if you might have a disability claim, scroll to the bottom of this screen until you see a box, and tell us about yourself there.

Most people don't notice the following, so I am going to start making it in larger and larger type until most people start following the suggestions. If you are the sort of person who reads instructions, I apologize:
If you want a high quality answer, please be sure to include these facts about yourself:
1. Age.
2. Grade you finished in school.
3. The sort of work you have done.
4. What your diagnoses are; that is, what problems the doctor says you have.
5. What limitations you have because of your problems. This means what you cannot do at work because of your problems. Problems standing, sitting, using your hands, concentrating should be mentioned, as well as any problems attending work because of any psychological condition.
6. Your city and state.

I am 23 years old and was diangnosed with Mysthnia Gravis almost two years ago. It is hard for me to take care of myself much less my 20 month old son. I have to take medicine for this evryday. If i miss the meds then I can't function correctly. I was denied for disability because they said my disorder was not severe enough.I am now having to have my tubes tide because of the risk. I cannot afford the medicines they have me on. I just want a fair chance. I also have a tumor on my thymus gland and will eventually have to have surgery to have it removed.

Kim, myasthenia gravis is a serious disease. Some people with it are able to work, but many are not. If you cannot attend work on a predictable basis, and you can prove that, you have a shot at winning your disability claim. If you are older or have lower work skills, you might not have to prove quite that much.

If you have been denied, sit down and talk to a lawyer.

There are probably ways to get the medicine, even if you cannot afford it. Please see the page on my site dealing with free medicine.
