I am currently receiving social security disibility, but because I worked for the Federal Government for many years, I heard that I might receive additional benefits thru my old job. Does anyone know who I can contact to see about these additional benefits. |

This is a good question that is beyond what I know. Of course you should talk to human resources at the last place you worked, and you should talk to your old union, if any. I invite anyone that knows more to post it here. |

It is not clear to me whether you are claiming Federal employee benefits or Social Security. It is difficult to say what your chances are. You should sit down and talk to an attorney. Take care. |
