i recently got my letter of a favorable decision for ssdi. then i got a letter from ssi with an appt date for a meeting with them for me to see if i am also entitled to ssi and medicaid. if i am qualified for ssi and medicaid from the onset date, will the medicaid card cover all the expenses i have paid for prescriptions since then? i guess i am asking how long would the benefits be retroactive? because I have had to borrow thousands of dollars to cover my precriptions for the past 2 years. thank you
