I hit the side of my head against the wall when I slipped on a wet tile floor at work and caused eye damage to my left eye. When I went to the Dr. it was discovered that I had 2 brain tumors that were malignant melanoma; these were removed successfully and I was scheduled for treatment.
During this time of about a year, I did not concentrate on the eye and when I did and was told there was nothing that could be done for the eye area, I contacted my employer and tried to collect WC; they conventiently lost my letter and WC report form that I had originally submited to them and my WC was turned down. Is there anything I can do? Can you collect SS Disability and WC Disability at the same time? They refused to bring me back to work, stating that things were slow and they were laying off. This is not true since they have hired several New Home Sales Managers on a continuous basis. They have also not paid my vacation pay. Is there anything that I can do?
